Some Bank of America customers are very concerned after seeing money in their accounts disappear Wednesday morning, according to a flurry of social media reports.
Customers are complaining that funds are missing from deposits and Zelle transactions.Several individuals reported calling the bank's customer service line but not having any luck getting information.

If you have Bank of America, Zelle is having an outage issue that's caused transfers over the last few days to disappear. They're working on it and it should be fixed today.

A third distraught customer wrote, 'Hey @BankofAmerica my account is missing money, specifically the zelle transactions I have proof of and now my account is overdrawn. weird because I have it set up not to overdraw or pay non auto pay transactions on my debit card. where's my money?'
The user, whose name is Dane, followed that tweet up by writing, 'also bestie it looks bad for you when my alerts send emails and texts with the date showing when my zelles went into my BOA account.'
'Can't wait to close my account when I get a human you guys are pure basura,' she added.'I woke up this morning to a negative balance. There is no way to speak to a customer service agent,' one user wrote on Down Detector, a website that provides users with real-time information about the status of various websites. 'This problem needs to be fixed immediately so (I) can have access to my funds!'
The site reported that Zelle began experiencing issues at around 7am Wednesday morning. By 11am on Wednesday, nearly 700 outage reports had been submitted.
Some users have been told that the problem is originating from Zelle, which is apparently having an outage issue that caused recent transfers to disappear.

ABC7 Chicago reported that at least one person logged into their account to find their entire
checking balance had been wiped clean.
At a Bank of America branch in Houston, a line of at least a dozen customers formed early Wednesday, each looking to resolve the alarming problem. No one had been able to get through to customer service, hence the in-person appearances.
